| Ouarzazate, 370 Km southwest of Er'rachidia, 204 Km southeast of Marrakech. At present it hosts three of the largest movie studios in the world, Atlas, CLA, and Kanzaman studios. Several historical movies were shot on those studios "e.g Astéopatre, Kundum, Gladiator and lately Kingdom of having and Babel". Ouarzazate has a thousand famous Kasbahs such as Ait Benhaddo, Tifoultout, and Taourirt.Many excursions through the Valley of Daa River into Sahara start from the city. |
